Contribution Program Mission

As a certified Community Development Financial Institution, one of First Southwest Bank’s top priorities is supporting rural economic development and reinvesting in the communities we call home. We accomplish this through loans, donations, event sponsorships, and volunteerism.

Contribution Areas

At the end of every month our sponsorship & donation committee will review requests. Applications requesting event sponsorships should be submitted at least 90 days in advance of the event date.

The following contribution areas are all included in the application and any or all areas can be included in one request.

  • Monetary Donation or Sponsorships - First Southwest Bank is proud to support local non-profit organizations and/or events that positively impact their community, particularly if they are related to one of our emphasized impact areas:
    • Housing & Economic Development
    • Financial Wellness
    • Food & Farming
    • Youth Development & Leadership
    • Health & Human Services
    • Energy & Environment
  • In-Kind Donations - We will consider donations of merchandise and First Southwest Bank logo items for events.
  • Volunteers Not only are we happy to donate and sponsor financially, but First Southwest Bank employees are also proud to volunteer in the communities we call home. If you’d like to request volunteers for an event, please let us know.
